up the vertical fin by push rod instead of through cables over pulleys.  Molt never felt this was necessary,

and complained that it added some weight far behind the CG, which is true, but I like it, as does Andy.

Note that the elastic stop nut in this example MUST be replaced by a cottered castle nut on final assembly!
