Two thoughts here: First, all these inspection covers should give plenty of access without having to peer in from the ends of the wings, as would be required with most Coots that lack them.  Second, the lack of wheels under the wing stand can make it inconvenient for moving them around. There is no wing-folding hardware on this Coot, by the way.
