Percy
was a machinist for the Parker Pen Company in Janesville. He began
N431PH in 1976, and every part seemed to have been assembled with the
care that we all see in Parker pens. After he retired in 1988 he made
faster progress, and eventually flew his Coot in 1994. It was powered
by a Franklin 180-hp with a 3-blade, constant-speed prop.
