At the top of this image one sees an amusing example of builder optimism.  I doubt if Molt ever heard a word coming from this speaker in the overhead panel, and flying in ANY Coot for

more than 5 minutes without protectve headphones could be detrimental to one's hearing.

(There is no getting around the fact that pusher amphibians are always very noisy.)

Many builders install engine controls in the overhead panel for direct, light operation.
