The next morning was Father's Day, so we flew north to rent bikes at the airport on Madeline Island

and then we took a ferry over to Bayfield, WI, (seen here from the ferry) for an ice cream snack.

This was the third consecutive Father's Day spent "Cooting" with one of my kids.

How could I have been so lucky?
