Our first stop was at Prairie du Chien, by the Mississippi River.  The FBO at the airport kindly let

us use his jeep, which we drove over the bridge to Marquette, Iowa, for a closer look at this mighty

River. Of course, we could have landed right on the river itself, but we needed some gas and a rest.
