It seems that the photographer forgot to remove about 4 screws sitting on the afterdeck before taking this shot.  Hopefully the pilot will do this before starting up the engine!  As with the wings, the builder has incorporated lots of access panels. Many builders use fiberglass instead of aluminum sheet in this area, in order to absorb some of the vibration from the propeller blades.
